A Study of Manifold Garden

In made this in early 2023 and called it "A Study of Manifold Garden" because it's really not my game idea. I basically just built the core mechanics for the game "Manifold Garden" by William Chyr Studios in Unity.  It took me about a week and a half and I sent it over to the studio along with an application for a generalist programmer position. I didn't get the job but it was really fun anyway.

Since then I've made a few small changes (mostly to the game to get a WebGL build running) but I could see myself cleaning some more up in the future.

There are four buildings connected by stairs forming a giant ring. Each of these buildings houses a cube that you use to activate a pillar in front of each building. Activate all four to beat the demo.

Controls

  • Movement: WASD
  • Interact with walls: Space / Right Mouse Button
  • Interact with cubes and switches: Left Mouse Button
